Sirena is a lovely 3/4 Peruvian light fawn girl with uniform crimp extending throughout her neck, blanket, belly and down her legs. Her fleece also exhibits fantastic brightness with excellent staple length, bundling, & phenomenal softness. We just got her micron info back and it is pretty darn good! 18.9, 4.6, 24.3 and 2.1 (for 2006)!
Sirena has a beautiful head with a soft, wedge shaped muzzle, black eyes and dark pigment on her gums and toes. Her body is very balanced with a level topline and good leg conformation. She also has a correct bite and a very sweet temperament.
Sirena's sire is My Peruvian Scene Seeker, who is a tuxedo fawn out of a silver gray sire and a true black dam. In addition to Sirena, Seeker has also produced 3 grays, 1 black, 1 maroon, & 1 other fawn. Sirena's dam, Amica, is a daughter of Peruvian Macusani and a medium silver gray dam. Amica has produced 3 blacks & 3 grays besides Sirena & is pregnant with her 8th cria. Amica's crias are all exceptionally healthy with great IgGs & good birth weights, she has lots of milk, easy births, & easy breedbacks. Sirena's IgG was over 3000 and she is BVD-PCR negative. With gray & black in the pedigree & on the ground from both parents, we expect that Sirena will be able to throw a variety of color, including fawn, maroon, silver or rose gray, & black.
Sirena sells with a free maiden breeding to my spectacular male, Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus' Nexxus, a 10X blue ribbon and 2X Reserve Champion. And that's just from shows from May 2006-May 2007! Nexxus' fleece is deeply crimped with 7 crimps per inch, density that doesn't end and a beautiful hand and brightness. Nexxus is a big-boned male with great presence, a beautiful head and great conformation. (Nexxus is co-owned with Warford Creek Alpacas.)
