Nexxus is a spectacular male.  A dark fawn son of Pacific Crest's highly coveted stud Nautilus, Nexxus' brilliant fleece has incredible high frequency, low amplitude deeply corrugated crimp that has brilliant shine, abundant staple, and superb density. The uniformity extends down his legs & into the belly. This male has crimp even in his cheek wool!  Nexxus has a correct bite, deep chest, square well-balanced conformation with substantial bone and perfect tracking through his gait. A macho head and a large body frame are hallmarks of his Accoyo heritage. Nexxus gets his great color from his dam's line going back 3 generations and passing through his maternal grandsire PPeruvian Camilio.

At Pacific Crest's Parade of Champions auctions, Nautilus' crias have sold extremely well and have unbelievable fleece characteristics and microns. At the 2005 POC auction his 3 daughters sold for $60K, $62K, and $43K respectively. His son, Accoyo America Talisman, sold for an incredible $167,000 at just 14.5 months old. At the 2006 POC auction his 2 sons and 1 daughter sold for $205K, $100K, and $90K respectively.  Nexxus is the darkest son of Nautilus outside of Accoyo America and Pacific Crest.

We are very proud to have added this young male to our herd and to be co-owning him with our friends Deb & Paul Hoff of Warford Creek Alpacas.

Stud Fee $3000.  Nexxus' stud book is NOW OPEN for 2008 breedings.  We will be starting him Fall 2007 so don't dilly-dally!  You don't want to be the farm wishing you had a breeding to this spectacular young male.  Contact Yvette at ysk@att.net if you have any questions or to see more pictures of Nexxus visit my website at www.woolandgray.com.  Nexxus will be available at my farm for viewing during our Herd Health Day seminar on June 23, 2007.  Contact Yvette if you would like a registration form sent to you.
